Restaurants have traditionally been laggards when it comes to adopting new technology. Instead, they attempted to use cheap labor to solve their problems. Yet, in the current climate cheap labor is no longer a viable option.
As operators face unprecedented labor challenges and increasing cost of goods, we endeavored to create a partnership with someone that shared our mission to help operators become more efficient and profitable. It was important for us to identify someone that shared our values and is an expert in helping operators improve their businesses. Someone with a history of disrupting conventional norms to help us advance the industry, and push it to where it needs to be to meet the current technology environment.
Many of us are familiar with Robert Irvine’s work on Restaurant Impossible, yet you may not know that most of the operators remain successful long after his visit. Robert also owns and operates many successful businesses.
For all those reasons, we were intent on creating a partnership with Robert.
We invited Robert and his team to our office so they can see our technology firsthand. During our visit we learned that Robert’s commitment to helping businesses is genuine, and his passion is contagious. We knew almost immediately that Robert and GRUBBRR could change the way commerce is transacted.
What impressed us most was that Robert didn’t merely want to be a spokesperson. He was clear that he had to believe in the effectiveness of the product, which he confirmed by committing to personally investing in GRUBBRR.
Together we will work to ensure that operators are aware of the accessibility and affordability of our solutions. Said another way we plan to “make the impossible possible”!
