Bhavin Asher is the founder and Chief Technology Officer of GRUBBRR®, a self-ordering technologies company focused on automating commerce with its award-winning line of hardware and software solutions.
A combination of technologist, entrepreneur, consultant, and an all-around problem solver, Bhavin is passionate about democratizing technology for all businesses. He founded GRUBBRR with the mission of changing the way commerce is transacted by automating both the consumer and business experience through artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Bhavin learned grassroots entrepreneurship by trading cotton for his grandfather’s business of buying and selling cotton to garment and textile exporters. After graduating from University of Madras in Chennai, India with a degree in computer science, Bhavin went to work for IBM first in India and then in Germany. At IBM, Bhavin immersed himself in the technologies used by large, multinational corporations. Following IBM, Bhavin was a CRM Strategy Consultant at Deloitte USA.
After nearly four years at Deloitte, Bhavin took a position at Salesforce as a Director/Solutions Architect. In his time at Salesforce, Bhavin was exposed to Fortune 500 companies looking for solutions to automate their businesses, and it was there that Bhavin learned how successful businesses leverage technology to scale and grow. During his stint at Salesforce, Bhavin helped companies innovate by taking existing legacy software and using Salesforce technologies to reengineer existing business processes across numerous vertical markets including healthcare, telecommunications, software, and technology. In addition to the United States, Bhavin has executed projects in Mexico, Italy and Australia.
Sam Zietz is a lifetime entrepreneur and the CEO of GRUBBRR®, a self-ordering technologies company focused on automating commerce with its award-winning line of hardware and software solutions that is revolutionizing the way commerce is transacted.
Under Sam’s leadership, GRUBBRR has been the recipient of multiple awards and accolades for its self-ordering kiosks and contactless ordering solutions. Sam was the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Regional Award Winner in 2015 and has appeared on the South Florida Business Journal’s list of “Power Leaders” for the last six years, providing GRUBBRR with resolute leadership. Because of this, Sam was recently named one of South Florida’s Ultimate CEOs by the South Florida Business Journal.
Sam sits on the board of several educational and entrepreneur-focused organizations, including the Palm Beach chapter of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), Chief Executives Organization (CEO), Florida Council of 100 and the Orange Bowl Committee. He speaks regularly at professional events and universities, has testified before Congress on Entrepreneurship, and has delivered a TED talk on achieving success through the entrepreneurial path.
Sam is also the founder and CEO of TouchSuite since 2003, a financial technology company that provides payment processing services to businesses across North America. Prior to TouchSuite, Sam earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan, succeeded by a JD from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida where he graduated first in his class. Sam earned his LLM in Taxation from New York University School of Law, and worked as a corporate attorney specializing in structured finance at the New York based law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom, LLP. Before Skadden, he worked in the Business Tax Planning Department at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Farshad Tafazzoli is the Chief Strategy Officer for GRUBBRR, where he oversees all aspects of GRUBBRR’s corporate strategic initiatives. An entrepreneur and impactful operator, Farshad has experience operating hyper-growth businesses, start-ups, crisis management, acquisitions, and turn-arounds.
Prior to GRUBBRR, Farshad served in numerous executive positions in financial services, FinTech, manufacturing & distribution, and software development industries. He has occupied executive roles at TouchSuite, 5Linx, American Capital Advance, Quantum Merchant Services, Zoli Corporation, and NSC Partners. In his previous roles, Farshad was responsible for all aspects of business impacting growth.
Farshad’s specialties include B2B distribution strategy, machine learning and AI product strategy, payment processing innovations, and establishing strategic partnerships. In addition, his capabilities include development of products from concept to launch.
Farshad also has extensive international experience, including distribution to North America, Europe, and Asian markets. He has a successful track record of general management experience with p/l responsibility to expand businesses to new customers and geographies across numerous industries.
Jarrett Nasca is the Chief Revenue Officer at GRUBBRR and oversees the company’s continued growth as it meets the rising demand for self-ordering solutions through extensive corporate marketing strategies, new sales infrastructure, and strategic partnerships.
Jarrett brings to GRUBBRR more than twenty years of sales and corporate marketing experience. Prior to joining GRUBBRR Jarrett was the Chief Operating Officer at the Orange Bowl responsible for overall oversight of business development, events, strategic partnerships, stakeholder relationships and executive administration departments.
Jarrett, a University of Florida graduate, was previously the Vice President of Corporate Marketing for Sunrise Sports & Entertainment (SSE), the parent company of the Florida Panthers, BankAtlantic Center, Sinatra Theatre and SSE Publications.
Patrick is the Chief Operations Officer for GRUBBRR, responsible for managing the deployment, implementation, client service and client success teams. In his role as COO, Patrick identifies resources, systems and personnel to develop and implement systematic processes to address the demands of GRUBBRR’s growth.
Prior to joining GRUBBRR, Patrick co-founded Performance Drone Works (PDW). He helped start PDW after seven years at Lockheed Martin (LM) where he served as General Manager of Lockheed Martin’s portfolio of unmanned systems businesses. Patrick led the combined businesses to $35 million in annual sales and led an organization of 90+ staff with offices in four locations in the U.S. and Canada.
Patrick also co-founded CDL Systems USA which was acquired by Lockheed Martin in 2012. CDL specialized in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) control software, with its major success being the adoption of its product by the U.S. Army as a common control software for the Shadow, Hunter and Gray Eagle UAVs.
Starting his career as a naval aviator attaining the rank of Lieutenant Commander, Patrick then graduated from the United States Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN). He flew the F/A-18C Hornet accumulating over 1,500 flight hours, 300+ carrier landings, and two deployments supporting Middle East operations. He was awarded two air medals for completing over 40 combat missions in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Patrick holds a degree in business administration from Boston University and an MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is also an alumnus of the MIT Human Automation Lab, where he led research using automation to reduce cognitive loads on unmanned aerial systems operators.
Sven Jensen is the Chief Financial Officer of GRUBBRR®, a self-ordering technologies company focused on automating commerce with its award-winning line of hardware and software solutions.
Prior to GRUBBRR, Sven served in numerous executive and founding roles across Wall Street, asset management firms, and technology startups. Sven started his career at Cornell University with a degree in Finance and Business Management. He subsequently spent a number of years working in Manhattan at Merrill Lynch’s Investment Banking division, and later at Allen & Company investing in global public opportunities. In 2008 Sven moved to San Francisco, where he was as an Investor in Blum Capital’s $5 billion fund and served on the board for a number of their investments.
Sven has been an executive at various technology startups since 2009. Specifically he founded both reMatch Sports and Bidzy (two digital marketplace businesses). He went on to lead all finance, operations, HR and facility functions at Saildrone (which designed, build and deployed autonomous ocean vehicles to capture proprietary data for government and enterprise clients), and raised over $200 million from investors like Lux, Social Capital, Bond and others. Most recently, Sven was CFO at Nexa3D – a leading designer of 3D printing hardware, software and consumables.
Sven brings more than twenty years of finance experience to the team and leads all fundraising, accounting, M&A and corporate development efforts.
Renee McDonough is the General Counsel at GRUBBRR. As the chief legal officer, Renee provides legal counsel to GRUBBRR’s leadership team and advises on, among other areas, intellectual property, commercial transactions, employment and data privacy.
Prior to joining GRUBBRR, Renee was at AGDATA where she served as General Counsel and led the Customer Operations function with a team of 40+ employees across the U.S. and Canada. Renee also served as legal counsel for various technology companies in different sectors, including Boston Scientific Corporation and Sapient Corporation (now Publicis.Sapient).
Renee brings to GRUBBRR more than 10 years experience counseling technology companies. She earned her B.A. from Penn State University, her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, and is admitted to the Massachusetts Bar.
