Employment in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic has severely dwindled. Students who had jobs lined up for the summer were met with disappointment after many organizations canceled their summer programs in light of the pandemic. GRUBBRR however, has taken a completely different approach to the situation.

GRUBBRR CEO Sam Zietz, was featured on WSAV-TV for the company’s efforts to create internship opportunities for students.

Zietz created a remote summer internship program to generate jobs for over 40 students from all regions of the country. During this paid internship program students will have the opportunity to work in various departments such as marketing, research, and development.

Being one of the few companies offering remote internship programs, GRUBBRR is attracting talented young professionals. “We’re getting unbelievable talent and unbelievable students,” Zietz said.

Zietz also recommends his fellow CEOs to start similar programs so they can help students get professional experience in the field of their choice while also utilizing the students’ strengths to develop their own company. “You would never have access to the kind of talent that you have right now,” the GRUBBRR CEO said.

Once again, GRUBBRR has proven to be a trailblazer in making positive change.
